What we collect
Only what you choose to send us through the booking, trade-in, reservation and contact forms or the Tech Boi chat: your name, phone number or email, device details, appointment choice and your message.
How the forms and Tech Boi work
Tech Boi runs in your browser and answers from a set list of answers. It is not an AI service and does not record your conversation. When you send a booking or request, it is delivered to Phone World through Formspree, a form-delivery service.
What's saved on your device
Repairs you book are saved in your browser's local storage so you can see them under Track My Repair. They stay on your device and are never sent anywhere else. You can remove them anytime with "Clear saved repairs."
Visit counts and lead sources
This site does not use advertising pixels or tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits and pages without cookies or personal profiles. When you send a request, it includes which form or chat you used and how you reached the site (for example, from our Google listing or Instagram) so we know what's working. That "how you got here" note is kept in your browser only for your current visit (session storage).
Third parties
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as IP address to deliver and protect the site. The 3D graphics library (three.js) loads from jsDelivr and the headline font loads from Google Fonts; those services receive standard request data like your IP address. Form submissions pass through Formspree. Links to Google Maps take you to Google, which has its own privacy policy.
How we use your information
Only to handle your request: confirm a booking, send repair updates, make an offer, hold an item or reply to your message. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Retention
We keep request messages only as long as needed to handle your request and keep normal business records.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you sent us. Call or text (813) 459-6239 and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No method of sending data is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
